This unique timepiece is based on design elements from the original 1911 pistol developed by John Moses Browning. The bezel has the grooved slide texture machined into the top, while the dial features the classic diamond pattern of the grip, including the nib and screw feature, so iconic with the pistol. The indicia on the dial are hand applied, and in the same font used on the original pistol design. The date surround follows the look of the back of a 45 ACP cartridge case and the crown has the texture of the front spring plug. The design even extends to the leather strap, embossed with ‘US’ in the same style as on the WWI holster, completed with metal brad.. 45 AUTO is etched on the side.

The 1911 watch is as large and robust as the 1911 pistol, itself. The massive walled 45mm case is capped by a thick, non-scratch and non-reflective sapphire crystal, and the massive crown is screw-in for added water resistance (50 meters). Each variant is in a limited edition, uniquely numbered on the case back. The timepiece is powered by an extremely accurate Swiss Ronda quartz movement. The watch is available in 316L stainless steel (PPC), black IP (Marksman), and 18k gold plate (Commemorative) variations.
